Hi,
I just discovered your site. Around 1950-52, my mother tried to have us embroider days of the week dishtowels for my grandmother for a birthday present. I remember they were little girls and they were “days of the week” towels: Monday, laundry; Tuesday, ironing; etc. They were not the
“Sunbonnet patterns”, and they were outline stitch embroidery. My mother was going to embroider the names of the days of the week for us, and help us do the rest. I don’t remember if we got them all done; I would just like to look at the pattern again. Do you know any website that has embroidery patterns from the 1950’s. Thank you. Donna Woodfill

bronwen the patterns above are copied from iron transfers, so when you iron the originals on they turn out the "right side". Since these will just be printed off the computer (without the transfer ink), you may need to flip them depending on which transfer method you choose. Hi, cute designs, i can’t wait to stitch them, but why are the pictures backwards? and how do you do you lines on aida? plz help thnx! but i really like the designs, they are very cute and would look lovely hung up in my bedroom and give me more inspiration to do my chores XL!
