Much like my Grandma’s Vintage Sheet Quilt, these matching twin quilts are made from sheets and pillowcases from the 60s and 70s: the kinds of sheets we had in our house when I was growing up, as well as the kinds of sheets I wish we had. I took pictures along the way and thought that others might be interested in a tutorial.

Here’s another simple quilt perfect for beginners using blocks of vintage sheets (you can use any fabric you like). You’ll be walked through each of the steps involved for making this charming quilt from arranging the blocks together in a pattern that you like to sewing it all together.

I love the different prints used in this quilt, the finished item is so cheery and definitely brings me back to childhood :) .

Please visit the site above for all the project details, so charming! Here’s another super-easy quilt in case you missed it last week: Tied Quilt Tutorial: Sewing.
