It holds tons of pins and I put my handsewing needles on some of the petals. Everyone that see it comments on how they like it. I used a scrap of satin fabric that has butterflys embroidered on it. I just centered one of the butterflys and used this as the center circle. Now it looks like my flower has a butterfly sitting on it feeding. I made this pincushion months ago and absolutely love it.
