Two-Toned Button Window Shade Project By womansday.com
Make your own colorful window shades with this easy DIY craft project from Ty Pennington.
This clever shade couldn’t be easier to make and uses a different fabric print for each side of the shade which gives quite an impressive effect. When you want your shade up, simply fold up and button.
Fabric is cut to fit within the window frame. No fancy hardware or gadgets needed, just fabric, buttons and twill tape (shade is installed with a curtain rod). This project is perfect for beginner sewers–if you can sew a straight line, you got this covered.
