Here’s an assortment of items you can make for carrying yoga mats featuring a little bit of everything: sewing, crochet and knitting. I also added a tip for diy pants (from an old t-shirt) and a clever toting strap using a dog leash. I’ll be adding more goodies to this page as I find them, enjoy!

Mat Strap [1]: Here’s how to use a 6-foot twill or leather dog leash to tote your mat.

Namaste [2]: (knitting) Worked on straight needles (US #8) and a cable needle, made with a cotton/acrylic blend yarn and satin cording for the strap.

Mat Carrier [3]: Made with a sturdy, easy to clean fabric (such as nylon ripstop, cotton duck, hemp canvas), includes an image file for specs.
