40+ Lovely Canning Jar Labels & Tags: Fuss-Free Downloads

There’s a lot of delightful labels here! Whether looking for something suitable for homemade canned goods (jams, jellies, pickles, preserves, sauces, etc.) or to use as tags for gifts & other pantry mixes, there’s surely something here you can use.

Sizes you need for lids:

  • Small Favor (1.5 oz): 1.5″ Circles
  • Standard Mouth: 2″ Circles
  • Wide-Mouth: 2.5″ Circles

I believe all the round ones I have listed in the gallery below are for standard & wide-mouth mason jars but if you are comfortable with adjusting printer settings, you should be able to shrink the size enough to work with the smaller lids.

If you love a certain design but it’s not a good fit for the jars you are using, you still have a couple options:

  • Print on sticker/adhesive paper and apply directly to the glass (tips for removing them can be found at the bottom of this page).
  • Print on cardstock, punch a hole on top to thread colorful twine through then tie around the glass neck as a tag.

Some of the freebies are editable within the pdf so you can type pertinent information, while others have a blank space for handwritten notes once they’re printed.

Space is limited so only note what’s important:

  • Contents
  • Date contents were processed (month/year)
  • Alternatively, you can instead note the Best Before date or Expiry Date

Now on to the goodies, plenty of great stuff here!

Do you know where to get the blank labels to print on? I live in Canada and I have just been to Staples office supply and they didn’t have any. When I used to live in California I got small round labels for my spice jars from Paper Source, but they don’t look like they have labels large enough for jars…

    Any ideas would be appreciated!

    Thank you!
