Multi-Colored: Features a loop for hanging. Download (zip file with pdf).

Ruffled: Finished size: 9″ square. This can be made smaller or larger by adding or removing from the starter chains.

Primrose: Two different designs available, a pretty primrose (as shown) and Daisy Wheel (circular with scalloped petal edges).

Pretty Scallops: Measures 9.5″ square, skill level noted as “Intermediate”. Stitches include sc, dc, tr LSC and TRCL (includes instructions).

Tulips: Cute & Kitschy, features a tulip in each corner with leaves and border in a contrasting color.

Granny’s Remix: A great little stashbuster worked in at least 2 colors, trimmed in a simple white edging.

Dainty: Colorful pearl cotton make these a delight to the eyes as well as handy scrubbies!

Nubby (pdf): The texture in this is made by alternating single and treble stitches.

Circular Pie: Round design with eight sections worked inside, just like sliced pie! Made with worsted weight yarn and a G hook.

Starbursts: Pretty little design that measures about 8″ square when finished.

Textured: Features a stitch that utilizes both the front and back loop of the same stitch to create a sturdy fabric.

Garterlac: Worked in back loop in single crochet through out.

Seed Stitch: This works equally well with a solid color and the seed stitch gives it a little texture for scrubbing.

Lacy: It’s “squarish” because it looks rectangle once done, but squares nicely after blocking.

Textured Stripes: Materials needed: 4-ply, worsted weight cotton; Hook Size H/8, 5.00 mm.

Pointed Granny: This is a great project to use up those small pieces of cotton you have in your stash.

9 1/2″ Square: This washes up beautifully and even keeps it’s shape after washing and drying.

Apple Tawashi: Made with acrylic yarn to give it extra scrubbing power, two sides are pieced together so it’s nice and thick. Here’s a Pear version.

Quick & Easy: Simple design made with a size H hook and worsted weight cotton yarn.

Citrus Twist: Made with 100% cotton worsted weight yarn and size G hook, border done in contrasting color.

Plaid: The main body is worked in 3 different colors then the edging done in a contrasting color.

Hexagonal: Super simple to whip up and suitable for beginners. Pretty edging is worked in a contrasting color.

    Thank you for these patterns, I was getting awfully bored with plain old double crochet, but not advanced enough for the more intricate patterns, and these are just what I needed to keep me happy!!

    I has found that working with double thread (Size 10)an simple double crochet row
    and single crochet row make an plain. But a very good dish cloth!
    Unlike the fancy one, it rinse better therefore stay fresher long.

    I want free patterns for wash cloths. We make them for WIC which is woman infant and children who have nothing And I need a pattern for corchet wash cloths. Thank you. Carole
