10+ Free Eye Mask Patterns & Tutorials: {Plus Filler Recipes}

Here is a nice selection of eye masks and pillows that I’ve gathered from around the ‘net, nice mix of everything here. They’re mainly sewing tutorials (with some pattern downloads), but I did find a couple crochet patterns (and one knitting) that I tucked in as well. I also added a few simple recipes that you can use to stuff them with (you’ll find them at the bottom).

Lavender Pillow [1]: (pdf download) Includes pattern for a slipcover and carrying case.

Sherpa Lined [2]: (pdf) Make a cozy sherpa mask trimmed with organic gingham bias trim. From Making It Fun [3].

Ruched (knitting) [4]: This uses a technique called ruching, available via pdf download.

Eyelashes [5]: Simply charming! Decorated with thick black eyelashes.

Do Not Disturb Pillow [6]: This charmer is made with linen, includes “Do Not Disturb” image download.

Woven Silk & Lavender [7]: No straps for the masks, they lay across your face. Filled with 3/4 cup flaxseed and 2 tablespoons dried lavender. Includes a template to download.

Luxury Fabric [8]: Luxurious fabrics (such as crushed velvet or silk brocade) can make these totally gift worthy.

Sleepy Time [9]: Includes a template that you can download (jpg file). Held in place with fabric covered elastic.

Patchwork [10]: Includes a slipcover with front worked in fabric patches, back is solid and fastens with a button and string loop. Pillow is filled with flaxseed.

Minkee [11]: Very similar to above, uses decorative elastic so it saves you a step in covering it. Includes a pdf template download.

Crocheted [12]: Simple design worked in continuous rounds. Design is a petal shape with crocheted string tie-backs. The site offers a few other ideas as well.

Owl [13]: Now this is something different, lol! This is worked in crochet.

Fabric & Batting [14]: Includes a template to download (pdf), made with fabric, batting and elastic tape.

Boudoir Set [15]: Includes directions for making a matching set of slippers.
