Whether you’re wanting a pair of leg warmers to help keep off the chill during the winter months or use them to accessorize an outfit, you’ll find plenty of good ideas in this collection (they’re all free too). I’ve sorted the patterns into two groups, one for Adult sizes and the other for Children & Babies (though most are for grownups). The list is mainly knitting projects but I included a small number of crochet goodies as well.
Extra Thick: Finished size measures 15.5″ (length) and 13.5″ calf circumference (will stretch). Worked on circulars but can also be done on two needles.
Aspen Stripes: A quick and easy project with stripes in three colors. One size (sm/med) but are very stretchy to fit a variety of sizes, length measures 16″.
Spiral Rib: Can be done on circulars or DPNs (#7), finished size measures 8″ in circumference (unstretched) or 16″ (stretched) and 30″ in length.
Abyss: Designed to wear under jeans and feature ties at the top to help hold them in place. Finished size measures 5″ wide and 20″ long.
Cabled: A braid & rib design worked in multiple of 12 sts. Will be 12″ circumference and 16″ length.
Luxy Design: Nice ‘n luxurious bubble design made with Merino Silk and Silk Mohair. Sizes XS/S (M/L).
Here are a few crochet projects:
