You’ll find some really neat ideas in this collection of free patterns and tutorials, a few are super easy to make too! The designs work for iphones, blackberries, ipods and other gadgets too. Patchwork: Made with assorted fabric scraps in solids and prints, lining, batting scraps and features a button and loop closure.
Cardigan: Too cute, this uses fabric from an old t-shirt and cute button.
Padded: Lined with fusible batting or fleece so it’s nice ‘n cushy.
Gadget Purse: Features a little hook to attached to your purse, diaper bag, etc. The finished size measures approx. 3 1/2″ x 5 1/2″.
Felt: Has a spring fastener sewn in the top casing to squeeze open or snap closed.
Quilted: Pouch-style with a quilted body and features a top strap with a Velcro tab closure.
Easy Sleeve: Can be made for any type of gadget/cellphone with minimal adjustment.
Recycled Leather: Easy! Made with repurposed leather. Holes are made with a standard hole punch and then 1/4″ strips are woven around leather pieces.
Bohemian Style: Pieces of leather are stitched together with white cotton yarn, trimmed with lace and has a magnetic button closure.
Wallet: Great project, this will not only hold your device but also credit cards, cash and coins.
Knitting & Crochet
Traveling Vine: Great for using up scraps of sock-weight yarn, worked with size US 3 needles. Opening is along the length and has a button closure.
Owl: Gives instructions for how to turn a square of knit or crochet into this cute cozy.
Garden Flower Pocket: Easy enough for beginner crocheters and uses just two stitches (chain and sc).
Lovely Knit: Will hold an ipod, blackberry or any gadget nicely and can be made in less than an hour, button & loop closure.
With Decorative Buttons: Body is knit flat, seamed then finished off with crochet edging in a contrasting color.
